The role of executive leaders in any organization must not be underestimated. Executive leaders play a major role in creating the right environment for those under their supervision to excel in doing what they do best. Executives in these roles come from varying backgrounds and differ in their approach to leadership style based on their experiences. For instance, most entrepreneurs “stumble” into their executive roles after passionately pursuing their dream of running their own successful business. These entrepreneurs are self-starters and possess the necessary drive and skills to get the company running. In time, however, the company eventually grows to demand more structure and organizational leadership skills to continue growth. At this stage, most entrepreneurs struggle to connect their business acumen with the appropriate leadership skills necessary to go to the next level. They now also face new personal and professional challenges that come with growth and seek ways to overcome these challenges.
Similarly, many C-suite executives find themselves in their current roles by being hired into the position or promoted from within. Depending on the company’s existing culture, the necessary training and skills required for being an effective leader are sometimes non-existent. Contrast this to other executives, which often bring leadership styles and skill sets that don’t align with the existing company culture. Yet other times, these executives want to maximize their potential to lead successfully. They have a good foundation but need help taking their company and teams to the next level. Regardless of your situation, I believe God has equipped you with the necessary skills, talents, and resources to accomplish your job. In his infinite wisdom, you are in your role by his plan and will empower you to make the most of this honor and duty.
ROI (Return On Investment) is a question I’m often asked and happily like to answer. As a business owner and entrepreneur myself, this question has come up repeatedly as results matter. However, much of the expectations lie on the executives and company key stakeholders to determine what’s most important to the organization. Many companies operate from different philosophies on how to conduct their business. They all, however, understand that a company’s success rises or falls on leadership. For this reason, most companies tend to focus on first ensuring the executive is operating according to fundamental principles or key virtues on what it takes to be an effective leader, which then translates into the company’s bottom line. In my years of experience, I’ve found that this first metric is an excellent starting point. Studies show that effective executive coaching eventually leads to the overall financial and professional success of a company. Below are some figures to consider:
Whether it’s lack of empowerment, lack of focused strategy, lack of consistency, lack of teamwork, inability to change, or something else, Executive Coaching focuses on helping you discover how you can reach your professional and personal maximum potential. We start by conducting an audit of your current situation to establish a benchmark for progress. We then work together to help you establish your desired roadmap for success. We then create an execution plan for what that roadmap will look like and how to track progress. Along the way, we adapt, improvise, and overcome any challenges that may arise to ensure you reach your desired goals. Coaching sessions are conducted either through Zoom, over the phone, or in person (based on location and availability). With your permission, I record Zoom and phone coaching sessions for your reference and review. As an added value, I provide written documentation of action items based on our session for accountability.
Below are the available coaching format sessions available:
