Coming from an advertising career, I know all too well the effects of good and bad advertising. Many people consider all advertising bad, but I disagree. Unfortunately, there is more lousy advertising than good. I believe good advertising is messages that come from trustworthy sources with intentions to provide or sell excellent services or products.
On the other hand, lousy advertising is messages that come from sources with plans to sell services or products only for their gain. These bad actors hide their intentions by convincing themselves they’re providing an essential need.
Regardless of whether you believe advertising is good or bad, I’ve seen the power it has to persuade. Considering this, I only work with those companies or individuals providing the best they have for others. The reason is I want to responsibly use all of the talents, skills, and resources I’ve acquired over the years.
